Title: Disposal of CRT TV
Post by: BPR on December 20, 2010, 11:23:47 AM
Hi,

Does anyone know how to dispose of a CRT TV. Does the council pick these up in the development or do I have to take it somewhere?

BTW, its a 30" CRT TV that still works - I just don't need it anymore.

Thanks.

Easiest and quickest way is to take it to the dump/recycling centre just off Prestons Road.  It's 2 mins away by car.

Council do pick these up I believe, but they takes ages and meanwhile your old telly will be cluttering up the road/bin space for your area.

If it is working, I would suggest posting it on Gumtree Freebie section, someone could find a home for it...

Sorry, was offline for a bit.  Thanks for the responses. Yes, the TV is still available. Will probably take it to the recycling center this weekend.

Thx.
