Hallway lights went off

Hi,
All the lights in the ceiling of the hallway went off in my flat, and I tried to change the bulb but didn't help. A handy man came briefly and suggested the lights transformer had gone. But we couldn't locate the transformer either by pulling the wire or open the ceiling access panel in the hallway.

Does anyone know the wiring or the location of the transformer for the lights in hallway? BTW, I live in Susan Constant Court.

Some of the lights are movement sensitive as well.
