When you move in and out, don't commandeer the lift in the morning when people are leaving for work, or in the evening when they're coming back.
And don't overload the lift. Almost every time someone moves, the lift is put out of order.
And if your vehicle is below a certain height, bring it into the garage and load up there, leaving the street door for other people's use.
