Mosquitoes on the increase
« on: July 29, 2012, 09:08:23 PM »
Dear All,

We're based in Bartholomew Court and have observed an increase in mosquitoes in the area... Having spoken to the concierge, turns out that the Residents association has asked for the foliage not to be cut until August this year (!). Most of us will have noticed the increased greenery in the property....however, it has been raining incessantly this summer, leading to increased mosquitoes and insects...the warm and humid weather over the last few days hasnt helped and there has been a general increase in garden mosquitoes, insects making it difficult to keep the windows open in the evenings....

Does anyone have any views on how to approach the residents' association to raise this with the management..possibly get some insectiside spraying done, or get the foliage trimmed/cleaned to keep any further infestation at bay?
