Can't believe I'm asking this.... but, has anyone got a VHS player?

Somehow I managed to not read an eBay advert properly and bought what I thought was a DVD, but turned up at the house as a VHS tape.   :angry2:   My rage dissolved when I went back and re-read the auction details.   ::) :P

Took me a while to research what it was on the internet, but after 20 mins I found that they were a predecessor to the DVD!!     :o

Anyway, if anyone is throwing away a working VHS player, or wants to sell it for a fiver or something... or even can lend me one for a day, I'd appreciate it.

If you have a genuine chamois and some surgical spirits, you can give the heads a clean and I guarantee it will be as good as new.
